FAQ

The ten questions that come back in every enquiry, answered with the numbers we quote from — minimum order, sampling, payment, logo method, packing and inspection. Every answer ends with the longer note behind it, so you can check the reasoning rather than take our word.

Payment & terms

What are the payment terms?

30% deposit with the order, 70% balance before shipment. The payment channel and the invoice currency are confirmed on the proforma invoice, so nothing is assumed at the quotation stage. Production starts when the deposit clears, which is why the 25-day bulk run is counted from that date and not from the enquiry.

How are freight and Incoterms handled?

EXW is the default, and FOB, CIF or DDP can be quoted per project once we know the destination port and address. Freight is always quoted separately from the bags, because transit time and cost depend on the port, the sailing and the mode — there is no general number worth putting in a quotation. Payment is 30% deposit and 70% balance before shipment, with the payment channel confirmed on the proforma invoice.

Quality & inspection

Can we inspect before shipment, or send a third party?

Yes. Incoming material, in-process and final inspection records are kept per order and can be shared with the buyer. A buyer or a third-party inspection company is welcome at the plant in Dongguan during production and before shipment, and we can pack for a pre-shipment inspection on request. Tell us the inspection date when the order is placed so the packing stage holds for it rather than running past it.

Order size & quoting

What do you need from us to quote?

Six things: what the bag has to hold, the quantity, how many colours or styles, the material you have in mind, the size or the bottle drawing, and the date you need the bags in hand. A logo file with its size and position helps. A drawing is not required to start — a photograph of a bottle next to a ruler is enough to quote. Existing styles come back in about 1 hour, complex custom work in about 6.

Can we order below 3,000 pcs?

No, not below 1,000 pcs per colour. The order minimum is 3,000 pcs, and on stock material it can be split to 1,000 pcs per colour or per size as long as the total stays at 3,000. Below 1,000 pcs per colour the material and setup costs dominate the unit price, so a smaller run is not cheaper per piece — it is a different, more expensive price that we would rather quote honestly than hide.

What is your minimum order?

3,000 pcs in total. On stock material that total can be split down to 1,000 pcs per colour or size, so a first collection does not have to be a single bag. A custom material or a custom colour usually moves the minimum up, because the mill sells the material by the roll.

Can I split the order across colours?

Yes, on stock material. Split it to 1,000 pcs per colour or per size as long as the order totals 3,000 pcs. What we cannot do is 300 pcs of one colour: below 1,000 pcs the material and setup costs dominate the unit price, and the per-piece cost becomes misleading rather than cheaper.

Logo & decoration

Which logo methods can you run on PU?

Four methods: deboss, foil, screen print and embroidery. On textured PU at 0.9 mm or above, deboss is the default and foil works when the mark is small and bold. Screen print needs a tight surface — on a coarse grain the ink bridges the weave and breaks in thin strokes. Embroidery gives a raised mark but the needle leaves holes in the panel, which is the buyer’s call. Send the artwork’s smallest stroke in millimetres, the logo size on the bag and the material, and we will name the method that survives all three.

Sampling & lead time

Is sampling charged, and is it credited on the order?

Sampling takes about 7 working days per round. Sample cost is quoted per project — it depends on the structure and whether a logo die or screen has to be made — and it is credited against the bulk order when the project goes ahead. Two rounds is common on a new structure, so plan about 14 working days unless the first round is already right.

How long does sampling take?

About 7 working days from a confirmed specification — meaning material, size and logo method are agreed, not just an idea. If you need the sample earlier, tell us the date you are working to; sometimes sampling can run while artwork is still being approved. Bulk production is then about 25 days, and freight is quoted separately.
