Terms
These terms describe how quotations, orders, sampling and delivery work. They sit alongside the proforma invoice for a specific order, and where the two differ the proforma invoice governs.
Quotations
A quotation is valid for 30 days and is based on the specification confirmed after sampling. Price depends on material, structure, quantity and logo method: the same bag in two materials is two different prices. A quotation on an existing style is normally answered within about 1 hour, a complex custom build within about 6 hours.
Minimum order
The order minimum is 3,000 pcs. On stock material an order can be split to 1,000 pcs per colour or per size as long as the total remains 3,000 pcs.
Sampling and production
Sampling takes about 7 working days per round; two rounds is common on a new structure. Sample cost is quoted per project and credited against the bulk order when the project goes ahead. Bulk production takes about 25 days from sign-off on the sample and on the artwork. An artwork or specification change after sign-off restarts the affected stage and may change both price and lead time.
Payment
30% deposit with the order and 70% before shipment. The invoice currency and the payment channel are stated on the proforma invoice. Production starts when the deposit clears.
Delivery
EXW is the default incoterm; FOB, CIF and DDP can be quoted per project. Freight is quoted separately from the bags, because cost and transit depend on the destination port, the sailing and the mode. Risk and cost pass according to the incoterm named on the invoice.
Specification and colour
The final specification is confirmed per project after sampling. Colour is matched on the physical sample, not on screen, and printed or foil colours are approved against a signed-off sample rather than a monitor.
Drawings and artwork
Drawings, artwork and reference files you send are used to quote and produce your order and are not shown to other customers. Files are stored with the inquiry and kept only as long as the project and commercial records require.
Inspection
Incoming material, in-process and final inspection records are kept per order and can be shared. A buyer or a third-party inspection company is welcome at the plant during production and before shipment; tell us the inspection date when the order is placed so packing can hold for it.
