Home/Materials/Recycled nylon, 210D ripstop
Recycled nylon, 210D ripstop
Light and slick with the raised ripstop grid, a touch stiffer and more papery than virgin 210D. It catches light differently at the grid line, which reads as technical rather than soft.
| Best for | Packable cosmetic and travel pouches, laundry and wash bags, organisers that go inside a larger bag, and linings where weight is the constraint. |

| Limits | Recycled nylon is usually produced by chemical depolymerisation rather than mechanical recycling, so it carries a higher price and a longer lead time than recycled polyester — it should be planned into the schedule, not added late. The ripstop grid shows needle holes: a seam that is unpicked and re-sewn leaves a dotted line. Any recycled-content statement depends on the yarn supplier's documentation for that lot. |
A 210D nylon with the ripstop grid, made with recycled nylon feedstock — the lightest of the recycled group, for pouches and organisers that have to pack down small.
