Apple-waste fibre sheet, 0.8 mm
Soft and supple with a matte, slightly dry surface, close to a fine PU in the hand but warmer and less uniform — you can see the fibre in the sheet when it is held to the light.
| Best for | Premium cosmetic pouches and small cases where the material story belongs on the box, wallets and organisers, and products where a leather look is wanted without animal leather. |

| Limits | It is a composite, not a plant: the apple fibre is a share of the sheet and the binder is still a polymer, so this is not a plastic-free material and cannot be described as one. The share of bio content has to come from the sheet maker's own documentation, and it varies by batch. Colour range is short, the price sits above PU, and lead time is longer — it has to be planned into the schedule. Creases stay where they are put, so keep it off tight folds. |
A sheet at 0.8 mm made with fibre recovered from apple-juice production, combined with a binder and laminated to a textile backing — a leathergoods surface with a plant-waste story behind it.
